If you did not attend The
Three Heads Company Picnic you
missed out. The property at Duh Pond was beautiful. An open field lined
with
trees and a natural spring feeding a pond smack in the middle. Thank
you so
much to Ernie and his wife for allowing us to hold our festival there.
A big
thanks to Doug and all of the good ol' boys for all of the hard work
you did
preparing the grounds for us. It was nice to come in and set up with no
real
labor to do. That is something we are not used to, considering most of
our
shows have been in an old hog barn.
Once again there are the
two hard working guys that miss the
party, lights and sound. The stage looked fantastic with Levy’s lights
going.
Thank you for all of the effort you put in on your shows, you really do
know how
to set the mood. As always it sounded great from any spot on the
property
thanks to Brent.
We want all of the bands
that played to know how much we
appreciate you supporting this company. You were all very nice to lug
your
equipment around, use your gas all up driving to the middle of nowhere
and
giving us a great weekend, just because you wanted to be a part of it.
We hope
you had a great time. You made sure we did.
Thanks for hanging in
there with the crummy assignments,
gate, garbage and porta potties. You guys that worked the gate for
hours are
awesome. That is the volunteer job no one wants. Garbage, you did a
fine job.
It looked clean the whole time. Also, thanks to the fellows at Johnsons
Johns,
you were very helpful.
As always the girls in
the kitchen and bar are just
smashing! If it were not for you ladies one of us would lose their
mind. Thanks
for keeping it intact.
Thank you to all of the
vendors. I hope everyone was kind to
you. We are glad you came with your families and friends we hope they
all had
fun.
Huge thanks to a couple
of guys that helped us fund this
event. You actually made it possible for us to do this. We love that
you
believe in Three Heads Co.
We want to send a big
thank you to the guy who lets us beat
the tar out of his new truck every show, you are a very patient man!
This was an eye opener
for all of us in Three Heads Co. We
were reminded why we wanted to start this company. We were reminded of
our
strengths and our weaknesses. We watched teenage girls bond together
while helping
younger kids with crafts, shoes, even peanut butter and jelly
sandwiches. We
saw young kids trying to help each other put floaters on their arms to
swim in
the pond. We watched as they hugged each other Sunday morning hoping to
see
each other again. So with that our last thank you goes to all of the
parents
that came with your kids. Help us to show them a slower pace, a kinder
way, a
cleaner planet. You are why we do this.
